Bais Abraham congregation members are getting their hands dirty - literally -as they kick off "Educating from the Earth," a year of learning about the Jewish relationship with the earth -and how it relates to Torah. The program also teaches Jews about how food grows - through communal organic gardening, supplemented with creative Torah study. This innovative program is funded by a Jewish Federation Family Education Crown Grant.
