Young Professionals Division (YPD) kicked off the 2012 Annual Community Campaign Western style. 300 young adults filled the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Clayton, rocking cowboy hats, boots, and lots of plaid. The night included a mechanical bull, table games like Texas Hold 'Em, live country music, a premium open bar, an antique-themed photo booth, and much more.

On Wednesday, January 18, The Jewish Community Foundation held an event to celebrate the successes of the "Create a Jewish Legacy" program thus far. The more than 200 Legacy donors who made commitments in 2011, as well as the volunteers who worked on behalf of the program, were honored. The event was held at the Plaza of Clayton and was attended by more than 70 guests. The program, hosted by Jewish Federation Chair, Bob Millstone, included hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and celebratory remarks. The program highlighted the tremendous impact of "Create a Jewish Legacy,"a community-wide effort to strengthen our Jewish agencies through planned gifts. It also kicked off the efforts for 2012.

On Wednesday, January 18, Women�s Connection held a retreat for the board and development volunteers. The event was held at the home of Stacy and Greg Siwak. 41 women attended the dinner and program with special guests. Kim Fish, Senior Director of National Women�s Philanthropy from NYC and Jennifer Korach, National Women�s Philanthropy Board Member from Cleveland, Ohio. The evening highlighted trends in women�s philanthropy as well as relationship building and its importance in successful fundraising.
